In 2020, after years of traveling the world on a shoe string budget, I stepped off the Hy-Line Ferry onto Nantucket’s famed Straight Wharf and never left. Nantucket is a famous summer hide-away for some of the world’s most influential people. The island is largely forgotten between October-April and it was during these empty months that I finally found my home and creative voice.
The working class of Nantucket forms the backbone of the island. The characters and textures have helped me reconnect with my childhood which was spent chasing my father through junkyards and his car garages.
